The Allyship in Kansas City

The Allyship in Kansas City series continues in 2024 with a focus on enhancing allyship within specific communities. The first workshop, held on February 6 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Chamber Board Room (30 W. Pershing Rd., Kansas City, MO), will center on perspectives from Kansas City’s Black community. Participants will actively explore strategies for better allyship with Black colleagues in the workplace and supporting Black-led businesses in the community. The Women’s Chamber Network of the Kansas City Kansas Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, presents “Family Friendly Workplaces.” This session is designed for HR professionals, business owners, managers, legal counsel, and anyone interested in fostering a more inclusive and family-friendly work environment.
